What we happily collect
We collect wearable and worn-out clothing of every kind: shirts, t-shirts, jeans, trousers, dresses, skirts, coats, jackets, knitwear, suits and workwear. Stains and small holes are fine. Worn-out items are recycled into cleaning rags or new fibre rather than thrown away.
Shoes are welcome too, ideally paired and tied together or rubber-banded so they don’t get separated. We also take bags and accessories, handbags, backpacks, belts, scarves, hats and gloves.
Household textiles are accepted as well: bedding, sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, blankets, throws, curtains and towels. If it’s fabric and it fits in a bag, we can usually take it.
A few things we can’t take
For safety and hygiene we don’t collect wet or damp items, anything mouldy, or textiles soiled with paint, oil or hazardous chemicals. Please don’t include single shoes, duvets and pillows that are badly stained, or bulky non-textile items like cushions with foam interiors.
If you’re unsure about a particular item, just add a note when booking or message us on WhatsApp with a photo and we’ll let you know.
Condition matters less than you think
Many people hold back items because they’re “not good enough to donate”. In fact, worn-out textiles are some of the most valuable things we collect. Reusable items go to charity partners; items beyond wear are graded and recycled into industrial rags, insulation and new yarn.
Either way, nothing goes to landfill. So if it’s fabric and dry, put it in the bag.
How to prepare your collection
No sorting is required. Simply bag everything loosely into bin bags or carrier bags. One bag for clothes, one for shoes is helpful but not essential. On your collection day, leave the bags by your front door or on the doorstep where our driver can see them.
You don’t need to wait in. We’ll text you to confirm the slot, so just leave the bags out and we’ll take it from there.
